Description of the georadar research methods

Ground penetrating radar(georadar inspection)is a geophysics method based on radiation and receipt of electromagnetic waves. Thus, ground penetrating radar can be considered as wave geophysics methods together with seismic exploration works.

According to theWiKidetermination georadar is a radio locator used to sound the research environment but not the air space unlike the classic one. The ground can be a researched environment (so “georadar” is the most popular name), water, walls of buildings, etc.

Georadars form files in special formats and graphic presentation which are usually named radargrams. Radargram interpretation is a complex task requiring a high qualification of a geophysicist.
